We had bought tickets back in March to go see Phil and Kay Robertson in Glasgow on Saturday 8/17. Ethan is obsessed with Duck Dynasty! Of course, since we were in Glasgow, we had to have dinner at my favorite restaraunt...Colton's Steakhouse. The Captain D's beside it had a welcome sign up for Phil and Miss Kay. Ethan thought that was neat!

He fell asleep on the ride over and wasn't in the best of moods when we woke him up.
It didn't take him long to share that sweet smile though...
The lights were out for the first part of the show, so the picture of Miss Kay has a strange color.
Phil is a great speaker who is very knowledgable about history and the Bible. Josh and I could have listened to him talk all evening but Ethan got bored. He wanted to hear more about the show. And honestly a lot of the topics were too in depth for Ethan to understand. I think Ethan was a little dissapointed. So we went for ice cream afterward. Maybe if Willie or Jase ever come near home we'll get to go see them. I feel like they would talk more about the show in general.
Last Wednesday I had lunch with Ethan at school. He chose his friend Isaiah to sit with us and they talked about Xbox games the entire time. It was fun to get to meet his new classmate. I also hadn't met his reading teacher yet. She was there at open house but was busy with other students and parents. She came up to the table at lunch and Ethan introduced us as he hugged her. She went on to tell me how much she loves Ethan. I'm so glad that he is well behaved, hard working, and very much loved by his teachers. It makes sending him to school each day so much easier than it would be otherwise.
Thursday night, after Ethan's baseball lesson we went to Sam's. Landen saw this bed, climbed up and yelled "Mom, look at me...take a pitch'a!" Ethan, of course, wanted in on the relaxation too.
Landen got my phone and had a "selfie" photo session without me knowing. I found these over the weekend. They made me smile...
