For Father's Day, the boys and I bought Josh tickets to a cubs game at Wrigley Field. It's something he's been wanting to do for a while now but just wouldn't plan. So I bit the bullet (price wise) and surprised him with great seats for the Cubs vs. Braves game this past weekend. Wrigley Field is a place he's always wanted to visit and the Cubs are near and dear to his heart because his grandfather (who raised him but passed before Josh and I met) was a huge Cubs fan. So, to Chicago we went...
This is our 1st night there. On our walk to dinner the boys saw this fountain and had to throw pennies in.
This is at dinner at Giordano's where they serve authentic Chicago deep dish pizza.
The boys were living the tv in the bathroom. Taking a bath became a passtime for them.
The Chicago skyline
The first full day there we checked out Navy Pier and it did not dissapoint...
Riding the carousel
The Ferris wheel...our boys weren't interested in riding at all but they loved looking at it all lit up at night.
We checked out the Chicago Children's Museum....
